Hey skyline, FR24 uses the database of jetphotos.net and obtain the last photograph of the aircraft uploaded to the jetphotos.net by the specific aircraft registration. In this case the photograph of Sichuan Airlines A333 which was taken on July 08, 2013 Registration No. F-WWCO. No one has uploaded a photograph since then.

      • Last flight for A344 now moved to 2016 maybe because delivery of A330 is still delayed.

It looks like UL has brought the date forward of the last revenue flight of 4R-ADF. Hopefully City of Megam ruhunupura (ADF) will leave UL with a farewell. As per update on 7-Oct, 4R-ADF planned to operate the last revenue flight as UL282 on JED-CMB on 13-Jan but now its been changed to 6-Jan. UL has reduced the frequencies of flights to JED from 5 to 2 weekly untill end of Dec 2015.

Hi Rahal, I'm wondering why does 4R-ALG & 4R-ALH are not in service since last few days? When UL going to receive 4R-ALP,ALQ, ALR in CMB? and Are they 242tonne mtow? Any news on A350s for UL? We suppose to receive 3 of A350 birds by the end of 2016.

Hi Ejanson65, Any changes in UL since Mr. Suren Ratwette taken over as CEO? Is Mr. Rakhita J still part of UL?

            Hello
ALH had a C1 check and it was taken out of the service for nearly 2 weeks. I saw the ALG in the hangar too but it must be an A check which is usually concluded within 2 days.

Next 330 will be delivered shortly, hopefully within this month but I think that would be the last for this year. There were rumours that A350 order was amended. Still we heard nothing officially.
I'm not quite sure about the weight category, but most probably it will be identical to ALO.

            Cheers

Yes, Malindo Airways is operating KUL-CMB route effec 16 Dec. It's a daily flights onboard B737. Notsure -800 or -900. I think the flight booking is not yet ready on AIS.

                    Here is the Flight Schedule
                    DAILY - KUL-CMB - OD185 - B737 - 22:00 - 22:55
                    DAILY - CMB-KUL - OD186 - B737 - 23:55 - 06:15 +1

It's going to be competition for other players SriLankan (14weekly), Malaysia (10weekly) and AirAsia (7weekly) who are currently operating in KUL-CMB route. Interesting fact is MH B737, AK A320, OD B737 is going to operate almost same time in CMB at night. All the best Malindo !!

Highly competitive route....currently UL is double daily, MH has 10 flights along with Air Asia operation.....excellent news for regular travelers as inevitable price war will take place. If UL and MH does not revise their strategy, reduction of flights in the mid term is for sure by the looser.

Do you think there is a good demand in KUL-CMB for pax & cargo ? Good to see more flights are coming to connect these two OW hubs.

Malindo serves almost all international airports in India but they never considered CMB before. But I'm very surprised with an sudden entry of Malindo in Sri Lanka market. I think AirAsia will switch off CMB route after the entry of Malindo. We need to wait & see. Does MH have plans for increase / decrease the frequencies of CMB as per new business plan?

I agree. MH is the likely casualty on this.

UL has a good presence (Double Daily) and a decent product, so I guess they will be OK.
